What Daily is
Daily is a free web directory written up like a chalkboard: hundreds of hand-chalked websites across 22 sections, 1371 dishes in all. It's run the old way — by people who actually look at each site — and it's free to browse and free to join.
How sites are chalked
Every dish is chalked by hand. We give each site a plain name, a direct link and a short note on where it leads, then write it into the section it belongs to. We wipe the board from time to time and rub out anything that's gone offline.
Chalking your own site
Run a website? Chalk it up in under a minute. Add your URL, choose a section, and you're on the board. There's no fee now and there never will be — Daily is free for good.
What we don’t do
No trackers, no pop-ups, no pay-to-rank. Daily is a clean, legible board — the opposite of an algorithmic search box. Just a menu you can read and trust.
